Scalloped Crabs

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Remove the meat from the crab shells and mince it.

  2. Mix the minced crab meat with the cream sauce, seasoning with coarse sea salt and black pepper.

  3. Spoon the mixture back into the crab shells.

  4. Top with buttered cracker crumbs.

  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until brown.
