Fruit Salad

Ingredients

Directions

Prepare

  1. Peel the grapefruit or oranges, removing the bitter white skin.

  2. Cut the pulp and apples into small dice.

  3. Finely chop the celery.

Combine

  1. Combine the orange and apples in a bowl; the apples will absorb the orange juice.

  2. Chill all ingredients until ice-cold.

  3. Mix the fruit and celery together in a salad bowl.

Dress and serve

  1. Cover with cream dressing, adding one-third as much cream as dressing and a little more salt.

  2. Serve on a bed of tender lettuce leaves.
