Planked White Fish

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Wipe the cleaned fish dry and place it skin side down on an oak plank.

  2. Season the fish with coarse sea salt and black pepper.

  3. Brush the fish with lemon juice and melted butter.

  4. Bake in a 400°F (200°C) oven for 25 minutes, or according to the size of the fish.

  5. Serve the fish on the plank, garnished with radishes, parsley, and a border of potato roses.
