  1. In a double boiler, combine the milk and sugar.

  2. Add the broken chocolate pieces and bring to a boil, stirring frequently until melted.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in the beaten egg yolks and soaked gelatin.

  4. Let the mixture cool slightly, then fold in the whipped cream and vanilla.

  5. Pour into molds and refrigerate until hardened.
