Honey Soap

Ingredients

• 2 pounds common yellow or white soap
• water (enough to prevent burning)
• ¼ pound honey
• a few drops of any agreeable perfume

Directions

1. Cut the soap into thin shavings.

2. Place the shavings in a pot over low heat with just enough water to prevent burning.

3. Once melted, stir in the honey and bring to a boil.

4. Remove from heat and add the perfume.

5. Pour the mixture into a deep dish to cool.

6. Once cooled, cut into squares.
