Unsupervised Recovery of Food Taxonomy from Volatile Compound Profiles: A UMAP Analysis of 450 Ingredients

Without supervision or human-coded labels, a UMAP projection of 7,464 volatile compounds across 450 ingredients reproduces conventional food categories — and surfaces cross-category molecular bridges that traditional culinary intuition misses.

Anti-Obesity Effect of a Tea Mixture Nano-Formulation on Rats Occurs via the Upregulation of AMP-Activated Protein Kinase/Sirtuin-1/Glucose Transporter Type 4 and Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor Gamma Pathways

-amylase inhibition assays demonstrated more effective activity in the tea mixture than the standards, orlistat and acarbose, respectively, and each tea alone. Thus, the herbal tea... Read full abstract on PubMed →

All paper metadata — titles, authors, journals, years, DOIs — is public bibliographic information. Abstract snippets shown are truncated to fewer than 200 characters and link to the original source on PubMed or the publisher. We never reproduce full text.
