Sweet Potatoes and Bacon

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Boil the sweet potatoes until tender, then peel them.

  2. Roll each potato in brown sugar, then wrap it in a thin strip of bacon.

  3. Secure each end of the bacon with a toothpick.

  4. Place the wrapped potatoes in a pan and brown them well in a 400°F (200°C) oven, turning frequently.
