Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Roast the beef on a rack in a roasting pan for 30 to 45 minutes.

  3. Pour off the drippings, leaving enough fat to prevent sticking.

  4. Pour in the Yorkshire pudding batter and return the beef to the oven.

  5. Cut the pudding into oblong pieces and serve around the beef.
