Lunch Dainty

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Beat the whites of eggs with powdered sugar until stiff.

  2. Mix in finely minced English walnuts or your preferred nuts.

  3. Spread the mixture on Uneeda Biscuits.

  4. Place the biscuits on a platter and put them in a 400°F (200°C) oven for a few minutes until the icing begins to turn light brown.

  5. Let cool and serve.
