Potato Scones

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them.

  2. In a bowl, mix the flour and a pinch of salt.

  3. Pour boiling water into the flour until it forms a stiff dough, stirring continuously.

  4. Add the mashed potatoes and mix until well combined.

  5. Add just enough flour to prevent sticking while rolling out the dough thinly.

  6. Cook the scones on a hot griddle, being careful not to scorch them.

  7. Once done, spread the scones on a damp cloth to cool, then cover.
