Ingredients

Directions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in 1 quart of water and mix with some flour and sugar to make a batter.

  2. Let the batter stand for 15 minutes, then add the remaining water.

  3. Create a medium sponge and let it rise until it drops.

  4. Thin the mashed potatoes with the milk, then add the salt and lard.

  5. Combine the potato mixture with the sponge and mix well.

  6. Gradually add more flour to form a medium firm dough and let it rise again.

  7. Scale and shape the dough smoothly, then place it in a pan.

  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until golden.
