To Keep French Beans
Ingredients
Directions
Gather your French beans when they are quite dry and not too old.
In an earthen jar, layer coarse sea salt at the bottom, then add a layer of beans, followed by more salt, repeating until the jar is full.
Ensure that coarse sea salt is on top, cover with a piece of leather, and place a weight on top.
Store the jar in a cool, dry cellar for use.
