Ingredients
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavored gelatin
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 (7 oz.) bottle (about 1 c.) lemon lime carbonated beverage
- 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can (1 c.) crushed pineapple
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1/4 c. shredded sharp process American cheese
- 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; cool.
Add carbonated beverage.
Chill until partially set.
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
Fold drained pineapple and banana into gelatin mixture.
Turn into 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan.
Chill until firm.
Combine sugar and flour in saucepan.
Stir in reserved pineapple syrup and the egg.
Cook and stir over low heat until thickened; chill.
Whip cream; fold into egg mixture.
Spread over gelatin.
Sprinkle with cheeses.
