Boiled Potatoes

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Select solid medium sized potatoes. Wash and cut off the ends. Put in a pot with enough boiling water to cover well, add 1 teaspoon salt, cover and boil about 35 minutes, or until tender. Take up in a skimmer, arrange on a napkin on a hot dish, cover with the ends of the napkin and serve. Potatoes either baked or boiled in their jackets should not be put in a covered dish.

  2. Or peel and boil or steam. Serve as soon as done.
