Home-made Pressed Cooked Corned Beef
Ingredients
Directions
Cut the corned beef into different sizes.
Pack the meat into a cooked corned beef press, sprinkling seasoning between layers.
Screw the press tight and place it in hot water at 180°F (82°C) for 1.5 hours.
Reduce the temperature to 170°F (77°C) and cook for 1 more hour.
If using a large press, cook for up to 3 hours.
After cooking, place the press in the cooler overnight.
The next morning, remove the chilled corned beef from the press.
