Oyster Pie

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Line a deep dish with good puff pastry, not too rich.

  2. Roll out the upper crust and cut it to fit the size of the oyster dish.

  3. Place the upper crust on top of the dish and bake in a 400°F (200°C) oven until nearly cooked.

  4. Prepare the oysters while the crust is baking.
