Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

Bake the potatoes

  1. Bake the potatoes at 400°F (200°C) until done.

  2. While still hot, cut off a small piece from the end of each potato.

  3. Scoop out the inside and mash it.

Fill and brown

  1. Mix the mashed potato with half the quantity of finely chopped, highly seasoned cooked meat.

  2. Fill the potato skins slightly above the edge.

  3. Place them back in the oven to brown the tops.
