Ferns and Grasses
Ingredients
Directions
Boil the alum in the water until fully dissolved.
Cool the solution.
Tie the grass in small bundles.
Pour the alum solution into a glazed jar or basin.
Suspend the bundles across the jar using sticks so they hang down and are immersed in the solution.
Place the jar in a safe location undisturbed overnight.
Wait 12 to 15 hours for crystals to form.
Once coated, remove the grasses and hang them up to drain and dry.
