Easy Way to Blanch Celery
Ingredients
Directions
On a dry day in mid-November, carefully lift the celery plants from the ground.
Place the plants upright and close together in water-tight troughs or containers in a dark cellar.
Pour enough water over the roots to cover them, and continue to add water as it evaporates throughout the winter.
