Apple Pies

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pare, core, and slice the apples.

  2. Fill a pie plate with the apples, without an undercrust.

  3. Mix a biscuit crust, making it slightly shorter and not rolled too thin.

  4. Season and sweeten the apples, then lay the crust over the top.

  5. Use about 1 pint of crust for one pie.

  6. When done, place a plate over the top and turn the pie out.

  7. Serve warm with cream.
