Stuffed Potatoes

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

Prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Bake the potatoes until tender.

Fill and bake

  1. Cut off the ends and scoop out the insides with a spoon.

  2. Mix the scooped potato with butter, hot milk, pepper, salt, and grated cheese if desired.

  3. Return the mixture to the potato skins, mounding it on the open ends.

  4. Place the potatoes in the oven for 5 minutes.

  5. Serve and eat from the skin.
