Rice Cake

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Beat the yolks and whites of the eggs separately, then combine them.

  3. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.

  4. Gradually add the egg mixture to the butter and sugar.

  5. Sift the rice flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar together, then fold into the batter.
