Salted Peanuts

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 300°F (150°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. Spread the peanuts on a baking sheet and bake slowly until the skins begin to loosen.

  3. Remove the peanuts from the oven and let them cool enough to handle.

  4. Peel off the skins from the peanuts.

  5. Cover the peanuts with a damp cloth and let them sit for about 30 minutes.

  6. Sprinkle the peanuts with fine salt and Krona pepper seasoning.

  7. Allow the peanuts to dry in the oven.

  8. Serve in small paper cases.
