Rice, Steamed
Ingredients
Directions
Line the bottom of a potato steamer with a piece of muslin or thin cloth.
Spread the rice in an even layer on the cloth.
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and add salt.
Keep the water boiling fast while steaming the rice.
If the rice layer is thick, turn it occasionally for even cooking.
Steam the rice for 1 to 2 hours, depending on the quantity and type of rice.
