Orange Pudding

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 300°F (150°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

Prepare the filling

  1. Grate the sponge biscuits and mix with enough milk to form a paste.

  2. Beat the eggs and stir them into the paste along with the lemon juice and grated lemon peel.

  3. Add the orange juice, sugar, and melted butter to the mixture and stir well.

Bake

  1. Line a baking dish with puff pastry, pour the mixture into it, and bake at 300°F (150°C) for one hour.
