To Boil Potatoes

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Choose potatoes of similar size for even cooking.

  2. Place them in a pot and cover with just enough water.

  3. Add plenty of coarse sea salt.

  4. When the skins begin to crack, remove the pot from the heat and drain all the water.

  5. Cover the pot with a cloth or lid, leaving it slightly open for steam to escape.

  6. Return the pot to the heat until the potatoes are thoroughly cooked and dry.
