To Re-cook Cold Turkey

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a deep dish, layer cracker crumbs, turkey, and oysters.

  3. Sprinkle with a little coarse sea salt, cayenne pepper, and mace.

  4. Repeat layers until all turkey and oysters are used.

  5. Add a little oyster liquor and bake for 20 minutes.

  6. Mix in more oyster liquor, beaten egg, butter, cracker crumbs, and nutmeg.

  7. Bake until browned nicely.
