Lamb Pie

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Prepare the lamb by cutting it into small pieces.

  2. Season the lamb lightly, as it is more delicate than mutton.

  3. Line patty pans with pastry.

  4. Fill each pastry with the seasoned lamb.

  5. Cover with more pastry and seal the edges.

  6. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown.
