Canned Peaches

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel and quarter the peaches. To peel, dip them in boiling water briefly, then in cold water to remove the skins.

  2. Prepare a porcelain kettle with boiling water and another with syrup made from granulated sugar.

  3. Drop the peaches into the boiling water and cook until tender.

  4. Carefully lift the peaches into a can, pouring syrup over them until the can is full, and seal immediately.

  5. Only cook enough peaches to fill one can at a time.
