Boiled Rice

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Clean the rice and wash it in two cold waters, keeping the last water until ready to cook.

  2. Prepare a saucepan of water with a little salt and bring it to a boil.

  3. Sprinkle in the rice and boil hard for 20 minutes, keeping it covered.

  4. Remove from heat and pour off the water.

  5. Set the saucepan in a warm place with the lid off to allow the rice to dry and the grains to separate.
