Orange Salad

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Remove the outer rinds and the white inner skin from the oranges.

  2. Slice the oranges thinly and remove the seeds.

  3. Sprinkle plenty of white sugar over the oranges.

  4. Pour brandy over the oranges and let the sugar dissolve before serving.

  5. For an alternative, mix in sliced ripe pears or use powdered sugar-candy instead of sugar.

  6. Garnish with preserved citron slices if desired.
