Fried Eggs

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Fill a frying pan with lard or grease to about half full.

  2. Carefully drop in the eggs, avoiding breaking the yolks.

  3. If desired, turn the eggs to cook both sides.

  4. Remove the eggs carefully without breaking them.

  5. If using a common frying pan, ensure enough grease to nearly cover the eggs.

  6. Fry the eggs carefully, dipping the pan over the surface.

  7. Do not overcrowd the pan; keep eggs separated.

  8. For better shape, use muffin rings in the pan and drop the eggs into them.

  9. If the edges are ragged after cooking, trim them.
