Baked Flour Pudding

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Scald the flour in the milk and let it cool.

  2. Add the eggs, saving the whites of 2 eggs for the meringue.

  3. Test the pudding by inserting a knife; it is done when the knife comes out clean.

  4. For the meringue, beat the egg whites until frothy, then gradually add 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar for each egg white.

  5. Add the juice of 1 lemon and continue beating until it holds peaks.
