Meat Puff

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Chop the cooked lean meat finely and season with salt and pepper.

  2. Place the meat in a baking dish and pour gravy over it, or add butter and water if no gravy is available.

  3. Cover the meat with well-seasoned mashed potatoes.

  4. Bake in a 400°F (200°C) oven until the top is light brown.
