Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Line pattie pans with puff paste.

  3. Fill each pan with oysters, small pieces of butter, and the oyster liquor mixed with a little water.

  4. Season with coarse sea salt and pepper.

  5. Cover with finely rolled cracker crumbs.

  6. Bake until the puff paste is cooked through.
