Ranks compare each pair with 20,000 random ingredient pairs on CompKitchen. How we score pairs

What each ingredient does

Gelatin
Sets the cream into a firm, sliceable structure as it cools.
Heavy cream
Adds richness and a light, airy texture when whipped and folded in.
Milk
Forms the creamy liquid base that carries the other flavors.
Caramel
Adds deep caramel sweetness and color to the cream.
Sugar
Adds sweetness and balances the coffee and caramel flavors.

The step that matters

Fold in the whipped cream gently. Gentle folding keeps air trapped in the whipped cream, so the dessert stays light. Vigorous stirring deflates the foam and makes the final texture dense.
