Ranks compare each pair with 20,000 random ingredient pairs on CompKitchen. How we score pairs

What each ingredient does

Sugar
Sweetens the sherbet and lowers its freezing point so it stays soft and scoopable.
Gelatin
Adds body and helps the frozen sherbet hold a smoother, less icy texture.
Grape juice
Provides the main flavor and liquid base of the sherbet.
Lemon juice
Adds acidity that brightens the grape flavor and balances the sweetness.
