Stock-pot
Ingredients
Directions
Keep a pot on the stove filled with water.
Add all meat scraps and bones to the pot.
Let it simmer gently whenever the stove is clear.
Replenish the pot every day or two.
To keep stock fresh, leave the fat on top to exclude air.
If stock becomes sour, add a little bicarbonate of soda and boil quickly; skim well.
