What each ingredient does

Whipped cream
Adds richness and a smooth, creamy texture to the frozen mixture.
Mashed peach pulp
Provides the main peach flavor and moisture for the frozen mixture.
Sugar
Sweetens the mixture and softens the texture of the frozen dessert.

The step that matters

Packing the mold in ice and salt. Salt lowers the melting point of the ice, so the brine gets colder than ice alone and freezes the mixture firmly. Without enough ice and salt, the bombe stays soft and will not set properly.

Swap the peach
