Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Layer sliced raw potatoes in a baking dish, seasoning each layer with salt and pepper.

  3. Dot the layers with butter and sprinkle with flour.

  4. Place a thick slice of ham on top or some ham in the center of the potatoes.

  5. Add enough milk to cover the potatoes.

  6. Bake until the potatoes are tender.
