Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Line a baking dish with rich biscuit dough.

  3. Layer bits of cold meat, chopped potatoes, onion, and parsley in the dish.

  4. Repeat layers until the dish is nearly filled.

  5. Pour cold gravy over the layers.

  6. Cover with a crust that has a slit cut in it.

  7. Bake until the crust is golden and cooked through.
