Ranks compare each pair with 20,000 random ingredient pairs on CompKitchen. How we score pairs

What each ingredient does

Eggs
Set into the structure of the omelette as they cook, holding the filling together.
Huckleberries
Add juicy sweetness and a bright flavour that contrasts with the rich eggs.
Rum
Adds aroma and a warm, sweet flavour when lit and served.

The step that matters

Cook quickly until set. Eggs cook fast over medium-high heat; overcooking makes them tough and dry and can cause them to brown too much before rolling. Stopping once the surface is just set keeps the omelette tender.
