Jelly Macedoine

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Dissolve gelatin in water over medium heat, stirring slowly until it boils.

  2. Once boiling, let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, then strain through a jelly bag until clear.

  3. Pour a layer of jelly into a mold, about ½ inch thick, and place on ice until firm.

  4. Add a layer of fruit on top of the firm jelly layer.

  5. Carefully pour more jelly over the fruit until it is covered by another ½ inch layer.

  6. Repeat layering with different fruits and colors of jelly until the mold is full.

  7. Chill until set, then invert the mold onto a dish to serve.
