Gooseberries, to Bottle

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Fill wide-mouthed glass bottles with gooseberries, ensuring the skins are not broken.

  2. Place the bottles in a boiler with cold water and let them sit until the fruit begins to crack.

  3. Remove the bottles and fill them with boiling water.

  4. Seal the bottles with bladder and store them in a dry place.

  5. Ensure the bottles are completely filled to prevent the fruit from becoming uncovered and molding.
