Pickles
Ingredients
Directions
Layer beans in a container, sprinkling coarse sea salt between each layer.
Cover the beans with a plate or wooden cover that fits inside the container.
Place a heavy stone on top to weigh it down.
Allow a pickle brine to form from the beans and salt.
When ready to eat, cut, soak, and boil the beans as if they were fresh.
