Devilled Ham

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Spread mustard mixed with oil and vinegar on the ham slices.

  2. Place the slices in a baking dish and cook in the oven at 400°F (200°C).

  3. Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them.

  4. Form a mound of mashed potatoes on a serving dish.

  5. Arrange the cooked ham slices against the mound of potatoes.

  6. Serve with tartar sauce if desired.
