Barley Sugar Drops

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare a marble stone with butter or oil to prevent sticking.

  2. Pour the syrup gently along the marble in long sticks of desired thickness.

  3. Twist the ends while hot and let it cool until firm.

  4. For added flavor, boil the rasped lemon rind in the syrup.

  5. When cold, store in papers with a little powdered sugar to keep dry.
