Ranks compare each pair with 20,000 random ingredient pairs on CompKitchen. How we score pairs

What each ingredient does

Cream
Provides the rich body and fat that whisk into a light, stable froth.
Strawberry or raspberry jelly
Adds sweetness and fruit flavor and colour to the cream.
Fresh fruit
Supplies fresh fruit flavor and juice that sweetens and flavors the cream.
Lemon juice
Adds acidity that brightens the flavor and balances the sweetness.

The step that matters

Whisk the blended ingredients lightly to a froth. Overwhipping cream past soft peaks turns it grainy and eventually into butter, so whisking should stop as soon as a light froth forms.
