Directions

In a large pot, combine 1 gallon of spring water, 1 quart of bran, and ¼ pound of coarse sea salt.
Boil the mixture for 2 hours.
Skim off any impurities and strain the liquid.
Optionally, add 1 pint of vinegar for extra flavor.
