Apple Dumplings

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Divide the pudding crust into pieces for each dumpling.

  2. Roll out the crust large enough for each apple.

  3. Place the apple in the crust, close it tightly, and tie it in a pudding cloth.

  4. Boil the dumplings for one hour.

  5. After boiling, dip them in cold water and place them in a cup the size of the dumpling while you untie them.

  6. Serve with sugar and butter, or add a clove and a little sugar before boiling.
